Usage: Lal Gunj are distinctive-looking bright red seeds with a black tips. The seeds are poisonous in nature and cannot be consumed without purifying. Apart from various medicinal uses (post purification), the seeds are also used as jewellery; and also as weapon in some countries.
Apart from the standard Red and Black seeds, these are found in white colour as well.
